Estate Sale is a Chicago band blending Americana, folk, and psychedelic pop with a restless experimental streak. Swirling organs, acoustic guitars, electronic textures, and inventive percussion surround soulful vocals and intimate harmonies — pairing the warmth of vintage recordings with modern production, and moving from quiet reflection to sweeping, dramatic arrangements.

The band is Joey Colando (Meekos & Me, Kidd Bayou), David Wechsler (Piñataland, Tyranny of Dave), Anna Soltys (Anna Soltys & The Familiar, Syzygal), Brett Piasecki on bass, Tom Jasek on drums, and Kevin Battle on guitar. Colando’s lyrics explore complicated relationships, the whims of fate, and the contradictions of everyday American life.

With vivid storytelling, wry humor, and a high lonesome thread running through it all, Estate Sale finds something strange and affecting in familiar experiences. Memorable melodies draw listeners in, while unexpected instrumental turns and carefully layered arrangements reward a closer listen.
